Common disconnects
A Clearcheck-caused disconnection is usually when it starts with "Clearcheck Disconnection" or if the in-game button sent you here!
Before contacting support, please read the entire section!
Incorrect token
In-game message:
You have sent an incorrect authentication token!
Looks like you have connected to this server before, but the token now does not match.
This can happen a few different ways:
- (if server is set to offline mode) Admin has reset tokens and someone else joined with the same name!
- Your tokens corrupted or got replaced with someone else's!
- Server has advanced protection measures turned on and cant regenerate token!
This is a really broad situation. You have a token on your computer but it does not match the server's signature.
The best course of action is to contact the server support or admins. Clearcheck support cannot resolve this, as the issue depends on the server’s signature.
No token
In-game message:
You lack the authentication token for this server!
This server has already seen a player with your name, but do not have token stored on your computer for this server.
This can happen a few different ways:
- Have you changed computers? Old tokens may still be on a old computer.
- (if server is set to offline mode) Someone else was playing with the same name as you.
This happens when the server expects you to have a token, but your computer does not have the token for this server.
Either, you switched computers, in that case refer to this page.
Or if you are trying to join for the first time and see this, it is also possible that someone else used your name if server is or was set to offline mode.
Disallowed assets
In-game message:
Some assets you have installed are not allowed!
Below is a list of all assets banned by admins. Resolve any conflicts and relog. This list has been logged. If you believe something is wrong, contact admins.
Your asset(s) appear to be flagged by the server. Each server can choose their own rules and keywords for banning assets.
Please remove any conflicting assets and join again. Also, if you believe the admins made a mistake, contact them.
Packets not sent
In-game message:
Packets were not sent or sent too late to server!
Packets are important for verification. You need to send correct Clearcheck packets before playing! Please make sure you have:
- tried reconnecting, sometimes that's all!
- original up-to-date version of Clearcheck mod
- a stable connection to the server and stable performance
- no other mod/program is interfering with your packets.
Your asset info and basic information packets are not reaching the server within the required time frame. In other words, the verification is timing out. The timeout can be configured in the Clearcheck serverside configuration. Servers with many mods or heavy server load may need a longer timeout.
Install and use the original Clearcheck version or if this issue persists, check your internet connection and performance overall! Any cracked or modified version of Clearcheck is not allowed, and thats the reason why it might be failing.
